A magician in North Vancouver, booked by the City itself.
The City of North Vancouver put me on the Shipbuilders' Square stage for a public afternoon at the Shipyards. Lenmark took the same act up Grouse Mountain for their Christmas party. Corporate evenings, civic events and private parties across the North Shore get the same close-up magic, stage show and MC format as anywhere else in Greater Vancouver.

What it looks like at your North Vancouver event

Close-up magic during a reception or cocktail hour, table to table as dinner starts, and a 45 to 60 minute stage show for the whole room. No travel fee applies anywhere on the North Shore, North or West Vancouver.
The two North Vancouver bookings on file sit at opposite ends of what the act does, which is a useful way to see it. The Shipyards was an outdoor civic afternoon on a public stage, a crowd of a hundred to two hundred that changed constantly as people wandered in off Wallace Mews. Grouse Mountain was the opposite: sixty-five people from one company, indoors, at the top of a gondola ride, close-up through the room and then a show to close the night.
Neither needed anything from the venue. The close-up portion has no staging, no AV and no green-room requirement, which is what makes it work equally on a public square and in a mountain-top dining room.
Rooms and stages on the North Shore

The Shipyards, Lower Lonsdale
The Shipbuilders' Square stage, next to the yellow crane, for the City of North Vancouver's "Young at Heart" afternoon in August 2023. An outdoor public audience of a hundred to two hundred, with people arriving and leaving throughout — the format holds because close-up magic restarts every few minutes by design.

Grouse Mountain
Lenmark Group's company Christmas party in December 2024, sixty-five guests. Close-up walk-around through the room, then a 45 minute show. A mountain-top venue is a genuine logistics question for most entertainment; it is not one here, because everything I use fits in what I can carry up.

Across the North Shore
North and West Vancouver are inside the no-fee travel zone and are quoted exactly as a downtown booking would be. Hotel ballrooms, private homes, galleries and waterfront venues all work — the act adapts to the room rather than the room to the act.
“Amazing magic tricks and great presence! We were lucky to have booked him for our Vancouver Aquarium winter gala.”
